Controversy Trails JayZ and Beyonce's Choice Of Baby Name..Setting The Records Straight

On January 8, 2012, Beyonce and husband Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl named Ivy Blue.   Born Beyonce Giselle Knowles, the singing diva is no stranger to unusual names.  Her husband’s birth name is Shawn Corey Carter but the world better knows this successful entrepreneur, rapper, and producer as “Jay-Z.”  Maybe it shouldn’t come as  a surprise that the couple chose to name their baby Ivy Blue, which is far more conservative than some other baby names, such as the unusual selection by Gwyneth Paltrow of “Apple” or the bizarre choice of “Pilot Inspektor” by Jason Lee, or Jermaine Jackson’s son “Jermajesty.”  What might be more surprising than the name choice, is the way social media networking sites have responded to Beyonce’s baby’s name.  Spreading like wildfire on Twitter is the topic “Eulb Yvi is Latin for Lucifer’s daughter.”  The suggestion is that “Ivy Blue” backwards is "Eulb Yvi," and means “Lucifer’s daughter” in Latin. Another proposal is that Blue stands for "Born Living Under Evil" and that Ivy stands for "Illuminati's Very Youngest."

The baby isn’t named Ivy. Beyoncé and Jay-Z named their little diva Blue Ivy Carter, according to a statement released by the couple today. Some sources were reporting that the child is named Ivy Blue. Why Blue Ivy? Nobody really knows at this point. Maybe the mega-stars named their kid after their favorite color and plant, but let’s be clear—this is speculation, not a fact.
The baby name has no connections to Lucifer. Some people are saying that the baby’s name, Blue Ivy, is proof of Jayoncé’s membership in a Satan-worshiping Illuminati cult, and if you spell the name backwards you get the Latin name of Lucifer’s daughter, Eulb Yvi. Turns out Lucifer didn’t have a daughter and these aren’t even Latin words. And no, Ivy isn’t meant to be an acronym for “Illumaniti’s Very Youngest.”
Beyoncé didn’t have a c-section. The celebrity gossip site TMZ led the world to think Beyoncé had an elective c-section, which is common among superstars. After all, Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) had four. But today the pop star issued a statement putting the kibosh on this story.

Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

The couple (probably) didn’t pay a hefty sum to rent an entire hospital floor. The New York Daily News ran a story reporting that music’s power couple paid $1.3 million to seal off an entire floor of Manhattan’s Lenox Hill hospital during Beyoncé’s birth. A follow-up story in the Daily News said that a Brooklyn father and his wife were barred from seeing their preemie twins in the NICU due to security for Beyoncé over the weekend.
Even the NY Times jumped on this story and talked with some parents who were stopped by security guards on their way to the NICU. The paper also quoted a doctor who said, “that two months ago he learned from obstetrical personnel at the hospital that a sixth-floor area previously used for medical observation before delivery had been cordoned off and was being rebuilt as a private suite, at no cost to the hospital.”
Monday, the hospital issued a statement disputing this information:

Lenox Hill Hospital and its staff were delighted to welcome the Carter family for the birth of their firstborn on Saturday evening, but we are troubled by the misinformation being circulated in some news media reports. The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true. The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations…
The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days. No security plan that we or the Carters’ security team put in place would have prevented or delayed families from gaining access to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and to date, no families have complained to the hospital about being denied access to the NICU.

Should we believe the hospital’s statement? There’s probably some truth in the middle of all this.

Twin Sisters, Mother And Daughter Give Birth Same Day

December 21st was a big day for 17-year-old Brianna Guerrero, she became a big sister. But she also became a mother.

Brianna Guerrero gave birth to a healthy 9 pound 9 ounce son named Ayden at 6:52 a.m. Wednesday, only 6 hours after her mother, Jessica Rotter, gave birth to Ayden's uncle.  The mother and daughter pair, who were not due to deliver on the same day, gave birth one room apart at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Ill.


"This is the first time I've seen this," said Dr. Alex Lipovich, Brianna and Jessica's doctor. "I've had mothers and daughter who were pregnant at the same time in my practice before, but to deliver within a few hours of each other is a first."

The births went smoothly according to  Lipovich, and both new mothers were very happy about the additions to their family, "although the mother was little disappointed that she couldn't be there to comfort her daughter."

Both children are expected to be released from the hospital today, just in time to be home for the holidays.

But that's not the only fascinating family birth to occur in recent days. Twin sisters Danielle and Nicole Fisher both gave birth to sons at a Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, N.J., last Tuesday night.
The sisters, who had due dates roughly two weeks apart gave birth within 13 minutes of each other, according to the Courier Post.

The Courier Post reports that both sisters still live at home with their mother meaning that the newborn cousins, Johnathan and Maximus, will grow up just like their mothers, sharing more than just a birthday.

Armed robbers invade Maternity Ward Of A hospital in Benin

IT was a harrowing experience for newly delivered and would be mothers at the labour and maternity Ward of the Edo State owned Central Hospital Benin when suspected robbers were allegedly said to have invaded the hospital at the early hours of today…It was gathered that the maternity ward had been previously attacked by suspected ritualists….Hmmmm this case get K-leg o, na only this hospital dey for Benin??? It was gathered that the hoodlums were said to have found their way into the Maternity Ward through the window and forced the women in the room to scamper for safety with their new born babies.
One of the nurses at the maternity ward who spoke on condition of anonymity to newsmen said the attack took place at about 1am.

She however added that the attackers did not succeed in taking away any new babies as the babies were taken to safety before the attackers finally came into the ward.

A husband to one of the victims who identified himself as Bernard Isokponpa said his wife lost two GSM handsets and some money to the attackers, even as he said that he could not confirm whether they were ritualists or robbers as his wife ran out with their new baby boy.

“Why would there be no security at the hospital. What if they had taken my baby? My wife called me at about 1:30am that armed robbers broke into the labour room. She said she ran upstairs with the baby,” he said.

Secretary of the hospital, Mr. Isaac Asien confirmed the attack but said they were pick-pockets and not ritualists or armed robbers.

He said various wards at the hospital had been robbed severally before and added that the hospital management had employed the services of a private security firm to boost security at the hospital.
Mr. Asien who denied reports that corpses were stolen or missing at the hospital mortuary, said one suspect has been arrested.

Suspected ritualists dump baby in Festac swamp. Hands bound, baby organs removed

Who are the parents of the baby girl that was dumped in a swamp by suspected ritualists at 6th Avenue, Festac, Lagos, on Monday?

This is the question agitating the minds of hundreds of people who besieged the area to catch a glimpse of the unfortunate baby. The bizarre act was carried out at about 12noon.

A close look at the baby whose arms were tied, revealed that her upper region was ripped open and some organs removed. Her mouth was also stuffed with some materials or items apparently used for the rituals.

The suspected ritualists came in six cars and were about 15 men and a woman.

A source told Daily Sun that he saw the people who arrived the scene in their cars and became curious. “I saw when they carried something and entered into the bush. I wanted to challenge them but I was afraid, because they were many. Immediately they left after some minutes, I entered into the bush, where I saw a little baby whose hands were tied. We later invited policemen from Festac.

Similar sacrifice was performed at the same place, the same period last year. We decided to monitor their activities this year. We are really worried about this ugly development,” he said.

Policemen from Festac later visited the scene and took pictures of the baby.

When the Daily Sun called the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Samuel Jinadu, to comment on the incident, he did not pick his calls.

A source at the Area ‘E’ Police Command Festac, who confirmed the incident said the headquarters had been duly informed.

Nurse hopes to have world's first baby from a transplant womb donated by her own MOTHER

An intensive care nurse is so desperate to have a baby she has decided to undergo a womb transplant from her own mother.

It means that should the operation be successful her child would be born from the same uterus from which she herself was born.
Melinda Arnold, 34, from Melbourne in Australia, was born without a womb but has ovaries that produce eggs.

Her mother's age has not been disclosed, however she would only be accepted as a viable womb donor if she was pre-menopausal. The average age for a woman to reach the menopause is 52.

'Encouraging children that tattoos are cool is wrong... Why not put a cigarette and a beer bottle in her hand while you're at it!'

What those same parents will make of the fact that Barbie's cactus-covered companion is named 'Bastardino' remains to be seen.

Yue Yue, two, remains in a coma after the horrific incident was captured on surveillance camera in a narrow street in Foshan city, Guandong province.




After days of treatment, the little girl has regained the ability to take weak breaths with the help of a respirator and some feeling in her arms, according to China Daily.
Her heart beat has also stabilised, but her life remains in danger and there are concerns she may have suffered extensive brain damage.

Video of the shocking moment she was hit by a car and then ignored by more than a dozen people who walked or drove past her as she lay in the street has sparked outrage in China and the world.

Both drivers who ran her over had been arrested, but internet users have flooded microblogs over the apathy of the people who left her to die.

The two men, along with people who left her on the road, claimed not to have seen the little girl in the 'dark' street.

Chinese media reports that one of the men had allegedly just broken up with his girlfriend and was on his mobile phone when he hit the girl.
