Relations reached such a low that pop star Andre even dispatched a High Court writ to his glamour model ex-wife.
And yesterday a fresh row erupted between the pair over claims that Miss Price paid Andre ‘maintenance’ for 18 months after their split – at £15,000 a month.
But today these claims have been vehemently denied by Andre and his spokesperson.
The alleged payments from Miss Price were said to have amounted to around £270,000 and ceased only in the 'last couple of months'.
With a source close to Miss Price, 33, claiming: ‘It seems particularly galling for Katie that, in her eyes, she was criticised a lot after their marriage broke down - even when she was paying Peter a five-figure sum every month.’
However, 38-year-old Andre, with whom she has two children, reacted angrily to the claim, made in the latest issue of Closer magazine.
His spokesperson Claire Powell today vehemently denied the claims and told Mail Online: 'Peter has not received a £6million settlement, and is not receiving maintenance. He walked away with nothing.'

The couple – who divorced in 2009 – have joint custody of six-year-old Junior and Princess Tiaamii, four. Miss Price has a third child Harvey, nine, with former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke.
The ex-model has built a varied business career, finding success with interests as diverse as books, lingerie and perfume.
She is estimated to be worth around £35million, reportedly earning an estimated £12million jointly with Andre through enterprises including a reality TV show following their lives.

Nevertheless, it remains rare for a wife to pay her ex-husband maintenance, especially when child custody is shared – and when there is such bitterness.
Indeed at one point when Miss Price was said to be paying Andre ‘maintenance’ he issued the writ against her over comments she made in a magazine article and during a recording of BBC programme The Graham Norton Show. That case is believed to be ongoing.
The couple met in 2004 on ITV programme I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and married the following year.
Miss Price is currently divorcing cage-fighter Alex Reid, 36, from whom she separated in January after 11 months of marriage.
Last night, asked about the ‘maintenance’, Miss Price’s spokesman said only: ‘The arrangements that Katie Price has with Mr Andre are confidential.’
