She recently said she was worried about her bum looking big in lycra as she competes on Dancing With Ice.

But Jennifer Ellison clearly has nothing to worry about.

The 28-year-old continued to show off her amazing figure in a Celeb Boutique bandage dress as she revealed her dance partner Dan Whiston had torn his hamstring and may not compete on Sunday.


The former Brookside actress skated briefly last night, but is not due to compete until Sunday, with the show split in half to accommodate all the celebrities.

She posed outside the ITV studios with a cardboard cut-out of her former size 18 self.

She also posted a picture of her with the figurine on Twitter, writing: 'Look at me with my fat friend!!!'

The mother-of-one told Loose Women that she had actually lost more than a stone when the infamous photo was taken.

Jennifer piled on the weight after her pregnancy and battle with post-natal depression in 2010.

She said today: 'I didn't want to be in the gym. I just wanted to be a mum. I didn't realize how big I was until I look back now... I put on like five stone..

'I was still in maternity stuff a year [after the birth]. It was really, really hard. It is difficult, but when you know the key things to fitness, I've kind of been taught.

'I got a the call about Dancing On Ice and I thought "Right, you've got to get your backside into gear girl". I thought "I need a personal trainer".'

She said she had been inundated by young girls who were inspired by her story.

The star was later seen with Dan at a supermarket, with the professional dancer having to lean on her for support as he hobbled along.
He appeared to have a bandage around his right leg.

When asked about Dan, Jennifer revealed: ''We've had the week from hell. Honestly, people don't know but he's torn his hamstring. So last week it was like "Are we even going to be able to compete?"... We were supposed to be skating last night, we were supposed to be in the first show.'

When asked if he would be alright, she answered: 'Well, fingers crossed. We've got an amazing, amazing physio, Sharon, she is just our lifeline. Seriously... We've had so many injuries already. People just don't realise how hard it is.'

She later tweeted: 'For all those asking if Dan can't skate on sun then I won't be. So I'm afraid I may be hanging up my boots before its even begun x.'

Jennifer looked more casual than earlier, wearing a white onesie with Ugg boots.

She also told of her mother's reaction to the show: 'Your hair was too big and you looked terrified.'

She added: 'The way I can describe it, it's like, when you take a driving test and you're foot shakes on the peddle, well you've got blades on your feet and you're trying to stand up.'

After losing five stone, no wonder Jennifer Ellison is showing off her trim physique in the tightest of dresses.

And as she stepped out in Cheshire last night, the former Brookside actress revealed the turning point that made her decide to lose weight.

The TV star, 28, revealed a director at a theatre audition said she was 'too fat' for the part, which prompted her to overhaul her diet and start working out.


Ellison admitted the cutting remark as she celebrated New Year's with dinner and drinks at the Coterie Wine Bar in Widnes - where she lives with husband Robbie Tickle and their son Bobby, 23 months.

Now a svelte and toned size 8, Ellison certainly had the last laugh as she showed off her figure in a £109 CelebBoutique Kimmy Adelisa bandage dress and a pair of towering Christian Louboutin platform heels.

The former Hell's Kitchen winner, who is set to star on the new series of Dancing On Ice, piled on the pounds while pregnant with Bobby and struggled to lose the weight after as she battled with post-natal depression.

Although she was unhappy with her weight, it was an extra blow when her agent told her why she had missed out on a part she really wanted.

She told The Sun: 'My agent started off by telling me how sometimes we have to say things that are hurtful but that he wouldn't be doing his client justice if he didn't say it to them.

'Then he told me what the director had said about me. He said that I desperately needed to get back to my Chicago weight and that if I wanted to continue working in the West End I had to slim down.

'I felt so humiliated. I believed I had made a complete fool of myself in front of all those people at the audition. It was an awful time but I have to admit, that director did me a favour.'

The 5ft 7 star described herself as a 'hippo mamma' after she went from a size 8 to 18.

She lost some weight in 2010 after enrolling at boot camp in preparation for her nude scenes in the touring production of Calendar Girls.

But it wasn't until last year, she really started to conquer her weight battle.

She has now shared the secrets of her transformation in a new fitness DVD Jennifer Ellison's Fat Blaster Workout.

The new DVD, which is co-presented by celebrity personal trainer Elia Siaperas, sees Ellison go through a five step workout, including Fat Blaster, Tone Blaster, Box Blaster, Power Blaster and Belly Blaster.

Just two days earlier, she was wearing nothing but a sports bra and hotpants as she filmed an advertisement for her new fitness DVD.

But as she went Christmas shopping in Richmond, South West London yesterday, it looked like Jennifer Ellison wasn't so confident about showing off her new svelte frame.

While of course the chilly weather would have contributed to her decision to cover up, the baggy clothes disguised her slender figure.


On Thursday, Ellison proudly uploaded a sneak picture of what fans can expect from her forthcoming fitness DVD, which goes on sale on Boxing Day.

Her new slim frame came after she lost five stone and dropped five dress sizes through over-hauling her diet and fitness regime.

As she filmed an advert for her Fat Blaster Workout, the 28-year-old showed off just how much weight she has lost as she uploaded a photo on her Twitter page.

Alongside the caption: 'Shooting my fitness DVD commercial! Here's a sneaky pic!', the mother-of-one looked super svelte and toned in a sports bra and hotpants.

The latest image shows the Hell's Kitchen winner look even slimmer than her official DVD cover shoot, which she posted online just two weeks ago.

When she uploaded it last month, she revealed she had lost another stone - taking her to a total weightloss of five stone since giving birth to son Bobby in February 2010.

She enthused: 'Hey guys!! I've lost another stone! Here's a totally untouched pic from my new fitness DVD available to pre-order now.'

The 5ft 7 star admitting ballooning from a size 8 to 18 during her pregnancy and said she struggled to lose the weight afterwards.

She lost some weight last year after enrolling at boot camp in preparation for her nude scenes in the touring production of Calendar Girls.

Reflecting on her weight gain, she said: 'I got huge. I looked like a hippo.

'I had absolutely no idea how I had ballooned during my pregnancy. All I thought about was eating plenty of food to keep my baby healthy.

'I was pregnant at the same time as Coleen Rooney and Denise Van Outen. Denise seemed to snap straight back into her normal clothes and I remember looking at Coleen and thinking I was always much tinier than her and now she was smaller than me.'

Ellison and husband Robbie Tickle welcomed their son Bobby in February 2010 after a gruelling 92-hour labour.

Bobby's arrival came a few months after they wed in Mauritius in October 2009 - 18 months after they started dating.

The new DVD, which is co-presented by celebrity personal trainer Elia Siaperas, sees Ellison go through a five step workout, including Fat Blaster, Tone Blaster, Box Blaster, Power Blaster and Belly Blaster.
