According to Reuters; Ghanaian police have arrested five men and seized a soft-drinks distribution truck loaded with guns and ammunition believed to be heading to Nigeria, on Wednesday.
Nigeria, presently is facing unprecedented civil unrest as sectarian violence and a nationwide protest against the removal of fuel subsidies threaten the government of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Deputy Police Superintendant Cephas Arthur said police found double-barreled shotguns and boxes of ammunition beneath a false metal plate floor in the truck, which was searched in an Accra suburb on Tuesday after police received a tip-off.
He did not say how many guns were found. Two of the arrested suspects were Nigerian nationals and the three others were Ghanaian.

Zimbabwean Man Forced to Marry Goat He “Sexually Abused”
A CHIRUMHANZU man appealed to police for help after being ordered to pay lobola and marry a goat he was allegedly seen having sex with.
According to The Chronicle newspaper, the 34 year-old was caught sexually abusing the goat last Wednesday night by theanimal’s owners.
The Sithole family is said to have assaulted him before dumping the animal at his homestead and demanding lobola....hahahahah continue reading dearie, serves him right.
“This was not the first time that Dziva has been caught red-handed being intimate with the neighbour's goats,” a local villager told the newspaper.
“He however, got himself into trouble this time when the Sithole family then decided to dump their goat his home. They are demanding that he pays lobola and take the goat as his wife.”
Negotiations between the two families to resolve the issue collapsed, forcing Dziva to appeal to local police for help.
Offers at the Mvuma police station referred the matter to the local chief.
Dziva admitted being found in the Sithole family’s goats’ pen but dismissed allegations he had been intimate with the animal.
“It’s only suspicion, I was not caught red-handed but they (Sithole family) claim that their goat is pregnant and they are demanding that I pay for that,” he told the newspaper.
“If they found me in there (goat pen), does that mean I was being intimate with their goat?”
A local headman said the matter had since been referred to the area’s chief.

Ghana now to sell electricity to Nigeria.

Ghana’s ruling government has concluded plans to begin export of electric power to Nigeria and other West African countries by 2015.
The country’s Vice President, Mr John Dramani Mahama, who unfolded the plan in Accra, on Tuesday, said the government has already embarked on extensive expansion of power infrastructure to enable them achieve the project.
I ve added kontar to my name since I want to acquire d citizenship of ghana,a small african country where things works..by next year,my new adopted country will be selling electricity to ur country..henceforth,i am Kanyinulia Kontar Okeke…..PLS click read more to read the full article.
Mahama explained that a key motivation for the investment was that Ghana presently has competitive advantage in the area of power supply over other neighbouring countries, including Nigeria, which is still grappling with massive power deficit for its estimated 150 million citizens.
The vice president, who spoke at a summit on Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) Compact Two in Accra, said the country intends to consolidate on its existing energy infrastructures by exploring alternative sources of supply, including solar power and biomass resources, to ensure that the target of selling power to other West African countries was achieved by the next four years.
Mahama, who underscored the imperative of stable energy in the economic development of his country said Ghana was partnering the United States Government to realize the dream, stressing that raising the nation`s power generation would in addition create wealth and alleviate poverty among her citizens. It was in the light of that initiative that the Millennium Challenge Account Compact two was organized to seek ways of funding power generation and transmission and uninterrupted power supply.
Under the arrangement, the country intends to increase her current 2000 megawatts of electricity to 5000 megawatts with the hope of selling surpluses to needy countries including Nigeria. Also speaking, Ghana’s deputy minister of Energy, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini explained that the country would require about $1.7billion to meet its quest for universal access to power supply, pointing out the President Arthur Mills government had already received about $966.55million from bilateral and multilateral institutions in that regard.
Alhaji Fuseini said there was a` shortfall of about $729million against which background it considered MCA compact two was considered useful.
IT would be recalled that Ghana has one of the largest dams in the world had in 2009 celebrated her ten years of uninterrupted power supply. Authoritative sources say that the Akosombo Dam built by late President Kwame Nkrumah has the potential to supply the entire West Africa with electricity if fully utilized.
It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan had shortly after being sworn-in in May reviewed the nation’s power roadmap, raising fears that Nigeria may continue to live with power shortages in the foreseeable future.

Mother Collapses In Court As Rapist Son Gets 40 Years Prison Sentence…Ntoooo
A mother of two Bulawayo rapists Elijah (24) and Aaron (27) on Monday at the Bulawayo regional magistrates courts collapsed soon after her two sons were sentenced to 20 years each for rape and unlawful entry.
The woman, only identified as Mrs Muchadhla, is mother to Elijah, Aaron and Rugare Muchadhla (31), all of Cowdray Park, who together with four other accomplices allegedly went on a housebreaking and rape spree…I don’t pity them at all..serves them right…continue reading.
Elijah and Aaron were each sentenced to 20 years imprisonment by Bulawayo regional magistrate Mr Godwin Sengweni while charges against Rugare were withdrawn after plea.
When Mr Sengweni pronounced the sentence against the two brothers, their mother stood from where she was sitting in the gallery and started acting strangely.
She appeared to be in shock and looked disoriented as she staggered out of the courtroom before collapsing in the corridor and started screaming.
It took sometime for her colleagues who had accompanied her to the court to assist her to walk out of Tredgold Building as she rolled on the floor in the corridor.
They struggled to lift her and assist her to walk out of the court building.
However, some onlookers could be heard asking why she was pained by punishment meted to her sons given the crimes they committed.
Elijah, Aaron and Rugare were accused of being part of a gang of robbers that terrorised residents of Cowdray Park in Bulawayo last month alongside Moffat Teka (25), of 7182 Cowdray Park, Langa Nyathi (35), of 6512, Jeshua Gonzo (29), of 7628 and Mandlenkosi Ndebele (23).
The magistrate convicted Elijah, Aaron and Teka of rape and sentenced them to 20 years each in prison.
Teka was again convicted of two counts of unlawful entry, which the magistrate treated as one for the purpose of sentencing. Teka was sentenced to an additional 18 years in prison of which five years were suspended on condition he does not within that period commit a similar offence.
Teka will serve an effective 33 years in prison.
The State led by Mr Goodluck Katenaire withdrew its case after plea against Rugare, Nyathi, Gonzo and Ndebele on the first count of unlawful entry, and dropped charges against Rugare and Gonzo on counts two and three.
Elijah, Aaron, Nyathi and Ndebele were acquitted after full trial on counts two and three.
The seven had pleaded not guilty on the first count while Teka pleaded guilty to the second count and found guilty due to overwhelming evidence on the third count of rape.
Teka had admitted to breaking into a house but denied ever raping the occupant.
Mr Sengweni said circumstantial evidence placed Teka, Elijah and Aaron on the scene of crime because one of the complainants positively identified Aaron’s voice as the person who was talking throughout the break-in.
The magistrate said from the evidence given by witnesses, there was no doubt the three were together on the scene of crime when they broke in and the court needed to decide whether they acted in common purpose to rape the occupant.
The court said the State proved its case beyond reasonable doubt against Teka, Elijah and Aaron and the circumstances in which the rape offence was committed aggravated the offence.
Mr Sengweni said Teka tried to implicate the other six on some of the cases but his testimony was not supported by evidence.
He said Teka had lied to the court and police on several occasions when he testified, as he would give conflicting statements each time he stood in the dock.
The State’s case was that on 3 October, Teka, Elijah and Aaron hatched a plan to go and break into house number 6960 in Cowdray Park armed with an iron bar.
The complainant is a teacher at Mthombowesizwe Primary School in Entumbane.
They broke the door to gain entry into the complainant’s two-roomed house, where she was sleeping and ordered her to cover herself with blankets.
One of the men forced himself into the woman’s blankets and raped her once while his accomplices were ransacking the house and looting property.
After raping the woman, the “rapist thief” ordered her not to uncover herself and he joined others in looting the property.
The court heard that they later demanded money and threatened to strike her with an iron bar if she refused. The complainant handed them three cellphones and $100 and other valuables and they left after
threatening her with death if ever she reported them to the police.
The complainant told the court that the gang was carrying an axe when it broke into her house and told her to cover herself with blankets.
She later woke up and discovered that her property had been stolen and made a report at Cowdray Park Police Post.
Fearing for her life, the complainant left her house for some time and went to stay with relatives.
The gang went back to the same house on 14 October while there was no one and broke in before looting a variety of property.
Three days later at about 11pm, the gang teamed up once again and went to house number 7432 in the same suburb where they forced open a sitting room window to gain entry.
The complainant was sleeping in the bedroom and they started looting property.
The court heard that when the complainant heard some noise, she phoned her neighbours calling for help but Teka, Elijah and Aaron jumped through the window and fled with some property fearing they would be caught.
They returned a few moments later and Teka went straight to the complainant’s bedroom where he told her to cover herself with blankets.
He then ordered the complainant to remove her undergarments and started touching her all over the body and private parts.
Teka attempted to rape her but she struggled with him until they awakened a newborn baby who started crying.
The complainant told the court that she was saved by the baby because the would-be rapist feared the baby would wake neighbours and told her to breastfeed it. She instead fled to the neighbours’ house naked.
Teka and his accomplices left after taking property valued at about $340 and 600 pula cash.
Some of the property was found in Teka’s possession and the complainants positively identified the three at an identification parade at Luveve Police station.
Nigerian captain throws 12 illegal immigrants overboard •In voodoo ritual to appease stormy seas
The ship which set sail from Libya for the tiny Italian island of Lampedusa in early August, was trying to cross the Mediterranean when tragedy struck. The ship was caught in rough seas and the situation got worse when the ship's engine failed but rather than turn rely on skills the Captain, a Nigerian, allowed his superstitions get the better of him and allegedly turned to Voodoo and started picking victims for human sacrifices to appease the seas and pacify the devil…Oh my God what will someone not hear in this world.
The ship was eventually rescued and escorted to Lampedusa's harbour by the coastguards after they receiving a mayday signal form the stranded ship. On getting to Lampedusa, 25 illegal immigrants were found dead in the hold due to suffocation from poisonous fumes from the engine and inadequate conditions on board. Others were rushed to hospital suffering from dehydration and exhaustion.
A full investigation was launched by Lampedusa Island Police and the horror of what happened unfolded. According to the prosecutor Ignazio Fonzo, who led the investigation, "Survivors told us that the captain of the boat, a Nigerian, was the leader of the rituals that began after the engine on the boat failed and they were left stranded in stormy seas.
"One man was selected taken down into the hold and beaten before being led back up on deck and then thrown into the sea with his hands tied. As this happened, prayers, chanting and dancing took place and it was said he was sacrificed to cast out demons and calm the seas. "This happened several times during the voyage we believe at least a dozen people were thrown alive into the sea in this way but now after a thorough three month investigation we have arrested five people in connection with these multiple murders."The five men arrested are West Africans aged between 28 and 44 years old.
According to witnesses, victims were picked on the basis of their ethnic origin or nationality after the selection, a number of Nigerian women performed a macabre dance of death before victims were thrown into the sea. One survivor recounted what happened. 'I saw a group of Nigerian women carrying out a strange magic ritual and afterwards they pointed at various people.
'The first who was grabbed had his hands and feet tied and he was then thrown alive into the sea.'..This is wickedness at the height of it.

Publicly Sucking On Big Juicy Melons Is The Latest Adult Craze In Ghana
Look closely at that pics…can you see what am seeing….That’s the latest trend in Ghana.
Here’s the details:
As if that is the latest “Sakawa” in town to aid the young guys into making some quick money, the new craze in town is that almost all the young guys who visit the nite clubs with their girl friends are trying to suck their breasts openly without fear or shyness from the public. When the first picture was sent to us we thought it was something designed to seek public attention until this writer witnessed it at a popular Nite club in Accra.SMH @ “it’s not even the small orange size boobies, it’s the big watermelon boobies!” This sounds wild as hell. To all our readers in Ghana, if you see this going down, please snap a picture and email it to us at kanyinuliaokeke@yahoo.com
Every occasion comes with a different lifestyle but what we are witnessing this year is a mind boggling one which needs serious attention from the authorities of the Nite clubs these activities have been seen. The first one was seen at a Nite club around Adabraka and Asylum Down(Accra) during their session they call Francophone Nite which is believed to house many people from our neighboring French countries. What is still not clear was whether those who were engaged in the act were Ghanaians or foreigners. The most fascinating stuff about this breasts sucking craze is that the guys do not suck the “orange” (small) size breasts, but the “water melon” type which babies even admire.

Morocco Opens Biggest Mall In Africa
The largest mall in Africa has been opened at the Moroccan city of Casablanca .The project is a joint venture with Moroccan group Aksal and Al Jedaie group of Saudi Arabia; it is worth $242 million and spans 10 hectares of land in the main port city overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Mall developers anticipate 14 million visitors per year, generating a turnover of five billion dirhams. According to site manager Salwa Idrissi Akhannouch, the shopping centre created 5,000 direct jobs and 21,000 indirect jobs. More than 100,000 people were involved in its construction, she added.
“The main idea was to build a mall for people where all Moroccans and tourists who come to Morocco can feel as if the mall is becoming part of their experience. For Moroccans, it is almost like an extension of their living room. For tourists, it is another reason to say that Morocco is quite a unique country. It is not only the old traditions of the Medina, the surprise, the souks, the markets that you have there with their smells and the spices, the beautiful colors, but is also a sign of modernity,” said mall architect Davide Padoa. The mall houses about 600 international brands, from high-end fashion shops to restaurants, as well as an aquarium, an ice rink, and the continent’s first IMAX cinema.

Zimbabwe's PM Cancels Wedding Of Barely A Week After Paying Dowry
Zimbabwe's Prime minister has reportedly ended his second marriage of less than two weeks..........
Zimbabwe's Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai says his relationship with businesswoman Locadia Tembo has ended, days after he paid a bride price.
Mr Tsvangirai said their relationship had been "irretrievably damaged" after it was "hijacked" by political opponents.
His representatives paid a bride price of several thousand dollars and cattle at a ceremony on 18 November. Mr Tsvangirai is in a coalition with his rival, President Robert Mugabe.
In a statement, Mr Tsvangirai, 59, said he doubted he would have a "perfect union" with the 39-year-old Ms Tembo, a commodity trader and sister of an MP in Mr Mugabe's Zanu-PF party
"The 'marriage' has been hijacked and there is an apparent active political hand that is now driving the processes," he said in a statement.
"State security agents have also weighed in to force and direct proceedings which has resulted in everything regarding this relationship now taking place on camera, with public media journalists in tow."
Mr Tsvangirai's first wife, Susan, died in a car crash soon after he became prime minister.
Mr Tsvangirai denied media reports that he had been present at the traditional ceremony on 18 November in Christon Bank, about 25km (15 miles) north of Harare.
He had been at his office and had sent a delegation to Ms Tembo's family home to "formalise" the relationship, he said.
"Reputations have been bruised and mutual trust... has been lost"
"I have become a spectator in this relationship and things are happening too fast, on camera and without my knowledge," Mr Tsvangirai added.
"This has led me to conclude that there is a greater and thicker plot around this issue which has undermined my confidence in this relationship."
Mr Tsvangirai said he had informed Ms Tembo's family of the breakdown in their relationship.

Bin Laden bread a hit for Malawi bakers
Naming a product after the world's most notorious terrorist may not seem like a surefire route to commercial success.
For bakers in the Malawian city of Blantyre, however, this marketing ploy is helping to reel in customers while ensuring that their produce has an unmistakeable identity.
"We make bin Laden buns," said Mahomed Hanif Valimamade, co-owner of a patisserie within the city named the Portuguese Bakery.
The standard bread rolls -- which are not exclusive to any one company and are produced by a variety of outlets in Blantyre -- were initially given their unconventional moniker by customers who likened their appearance to similar bread made in the Middle East, says Valimamade.
The tag quickly caught on, and when businesses realized how their products were being identified, they began to label them as such, to great effect.
On a good day, Valimamade claims, small bakeries like his own can sell as many as 2,000 "bin Ladens," adding that a large part of what makes them stand out is their attention-grabbing title.
He is quick to point out, however, that the name has nothing to do with an admiration for or expression of solidarity with the now-deceased al Qaeda figurehead.
"The majority of people like this name," Valimamade explained. "It seems to me this is nothing to do with politics. Malawian people are very pro-Western."

Robbers make off with priceless Treasure of Benghazi after drilling into underground vault at Libyan bank
A gang of Libyan looters have raided a priceless collection of gold and silver coins that are believed to date back to the time of Alexander the Great.
The thieves carried off with the pieces, known as The Treasure of Benghazi, having drilled through a concrete ceiling at the National Commercial Bank of Benghazi.
An expert has described the raid as 'one of the greatest thefts in archeological history.
Whilst the break-in was initially believed to have been part of the uprising against Muammar Gadaffi, Hafed Walada, a Libyan archeologist working at King's College London told The Sunday Times; 'It may have been an inside job.
'It appears to have been carried out by people who knew what they were looking for.'
Alongside the coins, several artefacts, including monuments and figurines of bronze, glass and ivory, as well as jewellery, bracelets and medallions, are also believed to have been seized by the thieves.
Can't see the point of stealing priceless treasures. Where on earth could they sell their hoard? // Private collectors. They'd already have a buyer before they did it. The illegal trade in antiquities is huge, much more so than you'd think. Even if they didn't have a buyer, they'll find one through the black market....but common is this the sort of people to rule Libya????????

Photo: 70-year-old Woman has given birth to snakes
Bizarre reports from the Volta Region say a 70-year-old lady has given birth to snakes at a fetish shrine in Kpando. The lady is reported to have first given birth to a green-skinned snake which measured seven feet, and another one which had two heads. Ten days later, she reportedly gave birth to two more snakes, with one dead.
The old lady was said to be based in Accra and had carried a protruded belly which looked like pregnancy for the past 31 years.
After combing through several hospitals for years and not finding a cure to her protruded belly, she was said to have been taken to a fetish shrine by name ‘God is King’ at Agorneme, near Kpando Zongo.
The shrine is run by Mamisi Asilevi and the old lady delivered the snakes not long after she was taken there.,,,,,,,
“I suffered this ailment for the past 31years. My stomach was as big as a pregnant woman who may deliver triplets. Most often, I experienced pains and stomach disorders. I realized that whatever was in my stomach could move around and sometimes rests within my chest,” the old lady narrated.
The owner of the shrine, Mamisi Asilevi, a farmer by profession, was adjudged the best farmer of the year in the Kpando District in 2010.
She said the old lady would be at the shrine for some six months for further treatment and also for doubting Thomases who might want to visit the shrine to verify the report.
Ghadaffi's Will Incase You Haven't Read It.
Below is the will Gaddafi wrote before he was captured and killed by Libya rebels.Read on:
"This is my will. I, Muammar bin Mohammad bin Abdussalam bi Humayd bin Abu Manyar bin Humayd bin Nayil al Fuhsi Gaddafi, do swear that there is no other God but Allah and that Mohammad is God's Prophet, peace be upon him. I pledge that I will die as Muslim.
Should I be killed, I would like to be buried, according to Muslim rituals, in the clothes I was wearing at the time of my death and my body unwashed, in the cemetery of Sirte, next to my family and relatives.
I would like that my family, especially women and children, be treated well after my death. The Libyan people should protect its identity, achievements, history and the honourable image of its ancestors and heroes. The Libyan people should not relinquish the sacrifices of the free and best people.
I call on my supporters to continue the resistance, and fight any foreign aggressor against Libya, today, tomorrow and always.
Let the free people of the world know that we could have bargained over and sold out our cause in return for a personal secure and stable life. We received many offers to this effect but we chose to be at the vanguard of the confrontation as a badge of duty and honor.
Even if we do not win immediately, we will give a lesson to future generations that choosing to protect the nation is an honor and selling it out is the greatest betrayal that history will remember forever despite the attempts of the others to tell you otherwise."
